入国時の注意！！

不正な荷物の持ち込みは罰則の対象になっています。
2019年4月22日から、伝染病防止のため、海外からの肉製品の違法な持込みへの対応が厳格化されました。輸入検査を受けずに肉製品を日本に持ち込むことはできません。

新千歳空港で

  • 入国手続きをして、在留カードを受け取ります。
  • 日本でアルバイトをする可能性のある人は「資格外活動許可」の申請をしましょう。
  • 両替 

※新千歳空港や成田・羽田・中部・関西・広島・福岡などの空港以外で入国手続きをする場合には、「在留カード」は発行されません。その場合は、後日区役所で手続きすると、登録した住所に送られてきます。

パスポート・在留カードを持って、居住地の区役所に行きましょう。（平日8時45分～17時15分）

郵便局で

住居の届出

　窓口で申請するか、転居届をポストに投函するかしてください。

銀行口座の開設

北洋銀行北七条支店（平日9時～15時）

または、近くのゆうちょ銀行（平日9時～16時）　で口座開設ができます。口座開設方法

必要書類：パスポート・在留カード（裏面に住所印字済のもの）・学生証（入学許可書や合格通知書原本）・印鑑（あれば）

  • 国費留学生はゆうちょ銀行の口座を開設してください。
  • 空港で在留カードが発行されなかった場合は、区役所で住民票の写しを取得し、銀行に持っていく必要があります。
  • 母国の納税者番号を確認されることがあります。身份号码やSocial Security Number、주민등록번호などの名称で呼ばれる、自分の国での身分証番号をメモしておいてください。
  • 口座開設申し込みのタイミングによって、実際にお金の出し入れができるようになるのに最長2週間程かかる場合があります。予想外の出費に備え、現金は少し多めに持参するか、海外送金の手順を確認しておきましょう。

寮周辺のお店情報

マイナンバー（社会保障・税番号制度）

区役所で転入届を提出すると、皆さんには12桁の番号が与えられ、この番号のことをマイナンバーといいます。区役所での転入届提出後1ヶ月程度で、個人番号通知書が寮やアパートに届きます。
個人番号通知書は「マイナンバーを証明する書類」や「身分証明書」として利用することはできません。

マイナンバーは

  • 海外送金・受金の時に、必要です。
  • アルバイトなどで給料受け取りの手続きの際に番号を求められることがあります。

住民票の写しを取得してください。申請する時に「マイナンバーを記載してください」と伝えてください。手続きをおこなった区役所または大通証明サービスコーナーで取得できます。

Procedures after Arriving（Persons granted permission to stay for over 3 months）

At the New-Chitose Airport

  • You will be issued a “Residence Card” at the immigration inspection.
  • Apply for “Permission to Engage in Activity Other than that Permitted by the Status of Residence Previously Granted” and receive approval at the immigration inspection, if you wish to have part-time job in Japan.
  • Money Exchange

※ If you enter Japan from the New-Chitose, Narita, Haneda, Chubu, Kansai, Hiroshima or Fukuoka airport, you will receive a residence card at the airport.

If you enter from another airport, the residence card will be mailed to the address after you report to your municipal / ward office.

You need to go to your local municipal/ ward office with your passport and residence card. (weekday 8:45 – 17:15)

※ MEXT (Japanese Government Scholarship) students must open an account at a JP bank.

※ If you don’t receive a residence card, you need to get a Certified Copy of Resident Registration (juumin hyo/住民票)  at the municipal/ ward office and bring it to the bank.

※You may be asked for your Taxpayer Identification Number in your country named Social Security Number, 身份号码,주민등록번호, Identity Number, Resident Registration Number, etc.

※In some cases, it may take about 2 weeks to open your bank account in Japan. Please consider bringing enough cash and/or use overseas remittance service.

“My Number” (Individual Number)

About a month after you submit the moving-in notification at the ward office, you will receive “Individual Number Notice” in the mailbox of the dormitory. 
This notice cannot be used as proof of your Individual Number or as identification.

  • My number is necessary when you receive/remit money overseas.
  • When you receive salary for a part-time job, company may ask your my number.
