If you want to stay in a Japanese family and experience the daily life of a Japanese family,
You can apply for the “HOME SWEET HOMESTAY” program for international students.

HOME SWEET HOMESTAY PROGRAM (English)

Please submit the application form with a photo attached and the required documents to the 1st floor counter of the Student Support Division, Academic Affairs Department (1A counter on the 1st floor Institute for the Advancement of Higher Education) at least 6 to 8 weeks before the day you wish to start homestay.

You can apply for the schedule up to your third choice from 2 days and 1 night to a maximum of 6 days and 5 nights.

Homestay is basically free in most areas, but in some areas you will need to pay for accommodation and meals.
You will have to pay for transportation to and from your homestay and expenses outside the home (eating out, facility entrance fees, etc.).

In order to join this homestay program, it is necessary to purchase insurance in case of an accident.

Sapporo Area, Obihiro City, Monbetsu City, Bihoro Town, Shari Town, Takikawa City, Tomakomai City, Toyoura Town, Wassamu Town, Asahikawa City

Once you apply for a homestay, you cannot cancel it, so please consider your schedule carefully before application.
