Workshop series “Survive and Thrive”

Workshop series – Survive and Thrive as an International Graduate Student – will be hosted by International Student Counseling Office, Student Advice and Counseling Center. Through these workshops, participants will learn surviving and thriving skills with other international graduate students.

This workshop will be facilitated by a counselor, and participants will discuss and share about their experience and concerns regarding their research and daily life. Participants will decide topics based on their interests, and possible topics include how to focus on research effectively, time management, keeping sanity while in grad schools, communication with professors and peers, how to sleep well.

International graduate students tend to focus only on their research and lab related activities. Therefore, this is a great opportunity to connect with other international graduate students and to know how they are doing regarding their research and daily life.
