北海道では、冬の厳しい寒さで水道管が凍結して壊れ、下の階にまで水が漏れるという事故がたくさん起きます。
1日以上部屋を空ける時や気温がマイナス4℃以下になる時には、必ず「水抜き」または「水落し」と呼ばれる作業をしましょう。

また、冬休み前には、家賃の支払いや保険の加入状況の確認も忘れずに行いましょう。

 

During a severely cold winter in Hokkaido, there are many accidents due to frozen water pipes take place.
Frozen pipes can burst and a whole room and even lower floors can be flooded.

To prevent it, you should drain the water pipe when you stay away from home more than a day, particularly when the temperature falls below minus 4℃.
