I was born in Leon, Gto., Mexico. I received my Bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical Science and my Master degree in Chemistry from the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. After that, I pursued my PhD degree in Chemistry in Osaka University, Japan, supported by the MEXT scholarship. From September 2014 to May 2016 I conducted a more specialized research in The Institute of Microbial Chemistry, Tokyo, as a postdoctoral fellow. My research interest includes the development of novel synthetic methodologies mediated by Transition Metal Catalyst, and synthesis of heterocycles with potential biological activity. In my free time I enjoy hiking.
