Overview
In “Inorganic Chemistry”, the students will gain the knowledge of basic inorganic chemistry and study elements, compounds, and their properties. The basic concepts and principles, such as structure of matter, periodic law of chemical elements, thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium, chemical reaction rate, etc. are required to be deeply memorized and flexibly utilized. In addition, we will also arrange several experiments for inorganic chemistry, which will help students deepen the knowledge understanding. At the end, the frontier subjects in inorganic chemistry will be introduced as “Knowledge Extension”. As students progress through the course, special attention will be paid to improving students’ critical thinking.
