I’m a plant biologist fascinated by how cells organize themselves and communicate to shape plant growth. I studied Plant Sciences at Delhi University (B.Sc.) and the Central University of Kerala (M.Sc.), and completed my Ph.D. at Hokkaido University in Japan.

My research focuses on how membrane dynamics, especially lipid-related processes, help organize the internal architecture of plant cells. I’m particularly interested in how the endoplasmic reticulum and lipid flippases contribute to membrane structure and signaling.

I combine genetics, microscopy, and bioinformatics to explore how these systems work together to support plant development and adaptation.
