<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\u3000The program fundamentally consists of a four-year Bachelor\u2019s degree and a two-year Master\u2019s degree. The latter of which will include an active research component, where the students will be affiliated with one of the university\u2019s prestigious graduate schools to learn the techniques and skills to flourish as scientists or researchers in, or out of academia. With Hokkaido University\u2019s advanced graduation initiative, we offer the opportunity for highly motivated and capable students to graduate from the Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s components in 3.5 and 1.5 years. This gives a combined course of only 5 years, which is shorter than most international universities, giving graduates the edge in an ever competitive job market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u3000Taught by our international faculty; the students have the opportunity to obtain an undergraduate education in the international language of science, English. This, combined with Japan\u2019s record of scientific excellence, gives the ISP students knowledge, skill-set, and majesty of professional level English. Indeed, the program endeavours to provide students with the skills highly valued from those of a scientific background, including deduction, investigation, reasoning and problem solving.<\/p>\n\n\n
